Intracardial valve cell of the larval dorsal vessel. There are 2 of these cells per dorsal vessel, forming a single valve that separates the heart from the aorta (Lehmacher et al., 2012; Rotstein and Paululat, 2016). It does not become morphologically distinct from other cardial cells until after larval hatching (Lehmacher et al., 2012).
