Adult female aIP-g neuron with a bifurcation above the mushroom body medial lobe and a large amount of branching in the superior intermediate and medial protocerebrum (Schretter et al., 2020). There are four of these cells per hemisphere (Schretter et al., 2020).
Adult female aIP-g neuron with no major bifurcation above the mushroom body medial lobe and less extensive projections within the superior medial protocerebrum, compared to aIP-g type 1 (Schretter et al., 2020). Its ventral arbors (below the mushroom body pedunculus) extend further towards the midline than those of aIP-g type 1, reaching the vest (Schretter et al., 2020). There are five of these cells per hemisphere (Schretter et al., 2020).
Adult female aIP-g neuron with no overlapping arbors in the superior intermediate protocerebrum (Schretter et al., 2020). It has a large branch around the mushroom body pedunculus and sparse arbors beneath it (Schretter et al., 2020). There are two of these cells per hemisphere (Schretter et al., 2020).
Adult fruitless neuron that develops from neuroblast BLVp2 (VLPl&p1) (Ito et al., 2013; Yu et al., 2013). It has its soma lateral to the brain (Cachero et al., 2010). There are around 32 of these neurons per hemisphere (Cachero et al., 2010).
