Embryonic cardioblast that will become an ostial cell (Molina and Cripps, 2001). There are two of these cells in each of hemisegments A1-A7, found near the posterior segment boundary, and they can be recognized by their expression of seven up (Molina and Cripps, 2001; Lehmacher et al., 2012; Chen et al., 2016).
