SNta38 [FBbt_20011289]

Adult tactile sensory neuron of the SNta38 group that innervates a mechanosensory bristle (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). It receives input in the leg and sends output to the leg neuropil (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). Its predicted neurotransmitter is glutamate (Eckstein et al., 2024). There are approximately 118 of these cells per organism (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024).
