ORN_VA2 [FBbt_00067059]

Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or92a (Benton et al., 2025). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal basiconic sensillum ab1 and it responds to 2,3-butanedione (Benton et al., 2025). Its axon innervates antennal lobe glomerulus VA2, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025). It develops from an Nab precursor (Benton et al., 2025). There are approximately 35 of these cells on each side (Benton et al., 2025).
