SNta01
ID: FBbt_20011262
Adult tactile sensory neuron of the SNta01 group that innervates a mechanosensory bristle (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). It enters the VNC via the posterior dorsal mesothoracic nerve (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). It receives input in the thoracic tergum and sends output to the T1 leg neuropil (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). Its predicted neurotransmitter is acetylcholine (Eckstein et al., 2024). There are approximately 21 of these cells per organism (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024).
Uncharacterized putative cell type from Marin et al. (2024), based on MANC v1.2.1 data (Takemura et al., 2024) from NeuPrint.
