ORN_DP1m [FBbt_00111212]

Adult olfactory receptor neuron Ir64a that innervates the antennal lobe DP1m glomerulus, bilaterally (Ai et al., 2010; Silbering et al., 2011). Its dendrite transduces signals from a grooved sensillum of the dorsal compartment of chamber III of sacculus (Shanbhag et al., 1995). It responds to various olfactory cues associated with alcoholic fermentation (Benton et al., 2025). There are around 15 of these cells on each side (Benton et al., 2025).
