SNch16
ID: FBbt_20011243
Adult chemosensory neuron of the SNch16 group that innervates a taste bristle (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). It enters the VNC via the prothoracic leg nerve (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). It receives input in the prothoracic leg and sends output to the T1 leg neuropil (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). Its predicted neurotransmitter is glutamate (Eckstein et al., 2024). There are approximately 13 of these cells per organism (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024).
Uncharacterized putative cell type from Marin et al. (2024), based on MANC v1.2.1 data (Takemura et al., 2024) from NeuPrint.
