Adult neuron that has dendritic arborizations in the superior lateral protocerebrum and presynaptic terminals in layer 8 of the fan-shaped body and the asymmetrical body (Wolff and Rubin, 2018. Some of these neurons also have presynaptic terminals in other fan-shaped body layers (Wolff and Rubin, 2018. They develop from the BAmv1 (LALv1) neuroblast (Kandimalla et al., 2023. (Kandimalla et al., 2023, Wolff and Rubin, 2018)
Likely to be a few different subclasses, but these have some variability and could not be well defined by Wolff and Rubin, 2018.
