SAch02 [FBbt_20011229]
SAch02
ID: FBbt_20011229
Adult chemosensory ascending neuron of the SAch02 group that innervates a taste bristle (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). It exits the VNC via the cervical connective (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). Within the VNC it fasciculates with the ventral median tract of ventral cervical fasciculus (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). It receives input in the leg and sends output to the leg neuropil (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). Its predicted neurotransmitter is glutamate (Eckstein et al., 2024. There are approximately 14 of these cells per organism (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). (Eckstein et al., 2024)
Uncharacterized putative cell type from Marin et al. (2024), based on MANC v1.2.1 data (Takemura et al., 2024) from NeuPrint.
