Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal basiconic sensillum ab6 and it responds to alcohols (Benton et al., 2025. Its axon innervates antennal lobe glomerulus DC2, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025. It develops from an Nba precursor (Benton et al., 2025. There are approximately 10 of these cells on each side (Benton et al., 2025. (Benton et al., 2025, Couto et al., 2005, Endo et al., 2011, Grabe et al., 2016)
