Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or2a (Benton et al., 2025. Its dendrite transduces signals from intermediate sensillum ai3 (Benton et al., 2025. Its axon innervates antennal lobe glomerulus DA4, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025. It develops from an Nab precursor (Benton et al., 2025. There are around 20 of these cells on each side (Grabe et al., 2016; Benton et al., 2025. (Couto et al., 2005, Lin and Potter, 2015, Benton et al., 2025, Ronderos et al., 2014, Grabe et al., 2016)
