The ventral tract enters the lateral ellipsoid fascicle (Lovick et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015. The dorsal tract crosses the dorsal surface of the mushroom body pedunculus (Lovick et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015. In the adult, its secondary neurons have more widespread arbors than DALcl1, reaching the anterior optic tubercle, bulb, lateral accessory lobe, superior medial protocerebrum and inferior protocerebrum (Wong et al., 2013; Ito et al., 2013; Yu et al., 2013.
