Neuroblast with a relatively anterior position in the BLD group (Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006. It has descendants that enter the superior lateral protocerebrum and join the intermediate superior transverse fascicle (Lovick et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015. (Yu et al., 2013, Ito et al., 2013, Hartenstein et al., 2015, Wong et al., 2013, Lovick et al., 2013, Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006)
Schlegel et al., 2024 - FlyBase:FBrf0260535 note that SLPav2 from Ito et al., 2013 and SLPav2 from Yu et al., 2013 do not overlap completely. The SLPav4 clone from Ito et al., 2013 is a subset of the SLPav2 (BLD2) clone (Schlegel et al., 2024 - FlyBase:FBrf0260535).
