A smaller, dorsal group collectively innervates the lateral horn and superior lateral protocerebrum (Ito et al., 2013. BLAvm2 and BLAl2 not in Pereanu and Hartenstein (2006) or later (but pre-connectome) Hartenstein papers. Hemilineage classes not created for this NB as three groups were identified in Schlegel et al., 2024 and it is unclear how hemilineages should be grouped.
