Olfactory basiconic sensillum of the maxillary palp. The surface of the sensillum is perforated by numerous pores, arranged along a complicated pattern of branched lines, connecting to a lymph space innervated by branched dendrites from two ORNs. These sensilla are located predominantly on the distal half of the dorsal surface and the lateral edge of each maxillary palp. (Shanbhag et al., 1999, Riesgo-Escovar et al., 1997)
