Adult lateral horn output neuron of the PV6a1 group that fasciculates with the PV6 primary neurite tract (Dolan et al., 2019. It is a secondary neuron that is part of the DPLp1 (LHp2) medial hemilineage (Bates et al., 2020. There are around 14 of these neurons per hemisphere and they are cholinergic (Dolan et al., 2019; Schlegel et al., 2021. (Dolan et al., 2019, Bates et al., 2020, Schlegel et al., 2021)
