Optic glomerulus formed by the axon terminals of lobula columnar (LC) 21 neurons (Wu et al., 2016; Morimoto et al., 2020. It is found in the posterior ventrolateral protocerebrum, in an intermediate position between the dorsal and ventral groups of glomeruli (Wu et al., 2016. It does not have a retinotopic organization (Dombrovski et al., 2023. (Dombrovski et al., 2023, Morimoto et al., 2020, Wu et al., 2016)
