Optic glomerulus formed by the axon terminals of lobula columnar (LC) 11 neurons (Wu et al., 2016; Keles and Frye, 2017). It is found in the posterior ventrolateral protocerebrum (Wu et al., 2016. LC11 neuron terminals are distributed throughout the glomerulus, rather than having a retinotopic organization (Keles and Frye, 2017; Dombrovski et al., 2023. (Wu et al., 2016, Dombrovski et al., 2023, Keleş and Frye, 2017)
