In the anterior prothoracic neuromere, it narrows to a thin bundle that continues to extend anteriorly through the gnathal neuromeres, but does not appear to receive any projections from sensory neurons of the maxillary-labial nerve or antennal-pharyngeal nerve (Kendroud et al., 2018.
