Larval basin neuron that has a relatively dorsal axon position, compared to Basins 1 and 2, and ventral dendrites that do not extend as far medially as those of Basins 2 and 4 (Ohyama et al., 2015. It receives little, if any input from multidendritic class IV neurons and does not have presynaptic sites on its dendritic arbor (Ohyama et al., 2015. (Wang et al., 2022, Ohyama et al., 2015, Jovanic et al., 2016)
Authors of FBrf0228257 and FBrf0233796 do not explicitly state which VNC segments this neuron exists in, therefore, subclasses may not be exhaustive.
