Adult descending neuron of the anterior ventral brain of the DNbe001 group (Berg et al., 2025. It receives input in the ipsilateral antennal mechanosensory and motor center, gorget, epaulette, vest, posterior ventrolateral protocerebrum, posterior lateral protocerebrum, wedge, superior posterior slope, inferior posterior slope, cantle, wing neuropil and neck neuropil, the contralateral antennal mechanosensory and motor center, vest, posterior lateral protocerebrum, superior posterior slope, cantle, wing neuropil and neck neuropil, and the cervical connective, gnathal ganglion, inferior bridge, intermediate tectulum and abdominal neuromere (Berg et al., 2025. It sends output to the ipsilateral posterior lateral protocerebrum, wing neuropil, haltere neuropil, T1 leg neuropil and neck neuropil, the contralateral anterior dorsal mesothoracic nerve, wing neuropil and neck neuropil, and the gnathal ganglion, lower tectulum, intermediate tectulum and abdominal neuromere (Berg et al., 2025. Its predicted neurotransmitter is acetylcholine (Eckstein et al., 2024; Berg et al., 2025. (Dorkenwald et al., 2024, Eckstein et al., 2024)
