It receives input in the ipsilateral antennal mechanosensory and motor center and inferior posterior slope, and the gnathal ganglion and intermediate tectulum (Berg et al., 2025. It sends output to the ipsilateral antennal mechanosensory and motor center, inferior posterior slope, haltere neuropil and T1 leg neuropil, and the gnathal ganglion, intermediate tectulum and abdominal neuromere (Berg et al., 2025. Its predicted neurotransmitter is acetylcholine (Eckstein et al., 2024; Berg et al., 2025. (Eckstein et al., 2024, Dorkenwald et al., 2024)
