It belongs to the SMPpd2 hemilineage (Dorkenwald et al., 2024; Schlegel et al., 2024). There are approximately 4 of these cells per organism (Reinhard et al., 2024; Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024).
