Compound sense organ located in the cibarium of the adult pharynx, near the upper end of the posterior cibarial plate. It comprises two sense organs, dorsal and ventral, that are innervated by gustatory receptor neurons. (Stocker and Schorderet, 1981, Gendre et al., 2004)
