The most distal of the three sensilla campaniform located in the distal region of the terminal organ, on the head of the embryo/larva. It is innervated by gustatory receptor neurons C3 and C16, as well as a mechanosensory neuron (Rist and Thum, 2017. (Rist and Thum, 2017, Singh and Singh, 1984)
