Campaniform sensillum of the proximal radius on the ventral surface of the adult wing. There are four or five elliptical sensilla with low profile and with a socket (type 6), often arranged in a diamond pattern. Each sensillum is between 2.5-3.5 micrometers in length. (Cole and Palka, 1982, Bryant, 1975)
