Astrocyte-like (reticular) glial cell of the adult medulla with its cell body located at the posterior margin of the serpentine layer (M7) (Edwards et al., 2017; Kremer et al., 2017. It extends thin branches distally toward the terminals of photoreceptor R7 in medulla layer M6 and proximally into M8 (Edwards et al., 2017). (Kremer et al., 2017, Edwards et al., 2012)
