adult lateral horn type I neuron [FBbt_00110876]
Neuron of the adult lateral horn that has dendrites in the lateral horn and projects to the superior medial protocerebrum and whose cell body is dorsomedial to the lateral horn. These neurons are activated by olfactory stimuli of a broad range and receive input from the antennal lobe projection neurons DM1 lPN, DM2 lPN and DM4 adPN.

Adult Nervous system Neuron Olfactory system
Neuron of the adult lateral horn that has dendrites in the lateral horn and projects to the superior medial protocerebrum and whose cell body is dorsomedial to the lateral horn. These neurons are activated by olfactory stimuli of a broad range and receive input from the antennal lobe projection neurons DM1 lPN, DM2 lPN and DM4 adPN.
In rare instances, a small projection into the mushroom body calyx was observed. Input into lateral horn type I neurons was assayed by paired recordings of these and antennal lobe projection neurons (Fisek and Wilson, 2014).
