DH44-expressing neuron with a cell body located in the adult ventral nerve cord. Clusters are present in the prothoracic, mesothoracic and abdominal ganglia. Fewer of these cells exist in the adult than in the larva and pupa. (Cannell et al., 2016)
These cells might be a subset of the adult ABLK cells, but not clear if every cell is LK positive (Zandawala et al., 2018 - FBrf0238083).
