Adult tubercle-bulb neuron that has postsynapses in the medial part of the small unit of the anterior optic tubercle, receiving input from medulla columnar neuron MC64, and presynapses in the posterior inferior bulb (Hulse et al., 2021. These cells collectively provide input to ellipsoid body ring neurons R3d and R3p, but different individual neurons do not always target both R3 types (Hulse et al., 2021. (Hulse et al., 2021)
