Neuroblast NB1-1 found in a thoracic segment. During embryonic development, it generates the CoA motorneuron in addition to aCC (DA1) (Schmid et al., 1999, but does not generate glia (Schmid et al., 1999; Beckervordersandforth et al., 2008. It resumes proliferation in the larva in all thoracic segments to generate postembryonic lineage 16 (Lacin and Truman, 2016. (Beckervordersandforth et al., 2008, Schmid et al., 1999, Lacin and Truman, 2016)
