Serotonergic neuron whose cell body is located anterior to the SE1 cluster. In the larva, there is one cluster on either side of the ventral midline in the dorsal tip of the subesophageal zone, in the tritocerebrum. There around 4 cells in this cluster, 3 of which innervate the prothoracic gland. (Huser et al., 2012, Shimada-Niwa and Niwa, 2014)
