Larva Muscle
The only transverse muscle of the larval prothoracic segment, it is found in a ventral position (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997. This muscle is branched, with one ventral attachment point and two lateral ones (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997. (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997, Bate, 1993)
Does not appear to be a homologue of more posterior VT1 muscles cp221208.
