Neuron of the adult brain that expresses Pdf and whose soma is located dorsoanterior to the calyx of the mushroom body. Its branches extend ventrally into the dorsal esophageal foramen. There are between 4-8 neurons in each hemisphere. (Helfrich-Forster and Homberg, 1993, Helfrich-Forster, 1997)
