Oviposition descending neuron that curves laterally into both sides of the posterior abdominal neuromere (Sturner et al., 2025). In the brain, it bifurcates near the midline forming a dorsal projection that arborizes in the superior medial protocerebrum, as well as a ventral descending branch, similar to oviDNb (Sturner et al., 2025). There are two of these cells per hemisphere (Sturner et al., 2025). (Stürner et al., 2025)
One per hemisphere (DNpe034) is the female pMP1 neuron (Sturner et al., 2025).
