oviDNb'
ID: FBbt_20002804
Oviposition descending neuron with bilateral arborization in the abdominal neuromere, which is relatively anterolateral to that of other oviDN cell types, similar to oviDNb (Sturner et al., 2025). In the brain, it lacks a dorsal projection beside the midline, instead reaching the superior medial protocerebrum via a lateral loop, similar to oviDNa (Sturner et al., 2025). It has extensive dendritic arborization in the superior lateral protocerebrum (Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024; Sturner et al., 2025) and presynapses in the contralateral flange (Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024). There are two of these cells per hemisphere (Sturner et al., 2025).
SLP410 mapped to oviDNb' based on FlyWire names in Schlegel et al. (2024) and Sturner et al. (2025).
