ORN_DL5
ID: FBbt_00067005
Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or7a (Benton et al., 2025. Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal basiconic sensillum ab4 and it responds to E2-hexenal and E2-hexenol (Benton et al., 2025. It innervates antennal lobe glomerulus DL5, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025. It develops from an Nba precursor (Benton et al., 2025. There are approximately 20 of these on each side (Grabe et al., 2016; Benton et al., 2025. (Benton et al., 2025, Grabe et al., 2016, Hallem et al., 2004, Couto et al., 2005)
Glomerulus listed as VM5v in Gonzales et al. (2021) - FBrf0250923, but DL5 is specified in Grabe et al., 2016 and Task et al. (2022) - FBrf0253272.
