ORN_DC3 [FBbt_00067047]

Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or83a (Benton et al., 2025). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal intermediate sensillum ai2 (Benton et al., 2025). It responds to farnesol (Ronderos et al., 2014). It innervates antennal lobe glomerulus DC3, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025). It develops from an Nab precursor (Benton et al., 2025). There are approximately 15 of these on each side (Grabe et al., 2016; Benton et al., 2025).
