Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or69a (A and B transcripts) (Benton et al., 2025. Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal basiconic sensillum ab9 and it responds to a range of pheromonal and plant matter olfactory stimuli (Benton et al., 2025. It innervates antennal lobe glomerulus D bilaterally, fasciculating with the antennal lobe commissure (Kaur et al., 2019. It develops from an Nba precursor (Benton et al., 2025. There are approximately 25 of these on each side (Benton et al., 2025. (Kaur et al., 2019, Grabe et al., 2016, Benton et al., 2025, Couto et al., 2005)
