Conspicuous landmark tract of the brain that crosses over the mushroom body pedunculus, close to the calyx, then turns anteriorly and joins the longitudinal superior medial fascicle (Lovick et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015). It is formed of dorsal components of CP lineages and DPLp1/2 lineages (Lovick et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015).
