OA-ASM [FBbt_00110167]
Octopaminergic neuron of the ASM cluster, whose cell body is located in the anterior superior medial protocerebrum. This neuron sends a process to the posterior protocerebrum where it branches out. Three different subtypes can be distinguished based on their arborization patterns in the posterior protocerebrum: OA-ASM1, OA-ASM2 and OA-ASM3 (Busch et al., 2009).

Adult Nervous system Octopaminergic
Octopaminergic neuron of the ASM cluster, whose cell body is located in the anterior superior medial protocerebrum. This neuron sends a process to the posterior protocerebrum where it branches out. Three different subtypes can be distinguished based on their arborization patterns in the posterior protocerebrum: OA-ASM1, OA-ASM2 and OA-ASM3 (Busch et al., 2009).
The neurotransmitter was assessed by immunostaining with an anti-octopamine (OA) antibody in cells labelled with tdc2-GAL4 (FBti0101786) (Busch et al., 2009).
