Neuroblast that produces a clone of two secondary neurons with posterior medial somas and local arbors in the superior and posterior lateral protocerebrum (Ito et al., 2013. (Ito et al., 2013)
Ito et al., 2013 only found two-cell clones of this lineage and note the possibility that these are first born neurons of another lineage (most likely DM1), so the 'SLPpm4' neuroblast may not exist. Schlegel et al. (2024) - FlyBase:FBrf0260535 also only identify 2 cells per side and suspect that this may be a lineage that does not have secondary neurons.
