Neuroblast that generates a primary lineage that enters the superior lateral protocerebrum laterally and projects a thick bundle, the transverse superior anterior fascicle, ventromedially towards the mushroom body pedunculus (Hartenstein et al., 2015. Its secondary lineage has arborization across the ipsilateral superior protocerebrum, including the lateral horn, and projections via the superior arch commissure to the contralateral hemisphere (Ito et al., 2013; Yu et al., 2013. (Yu et al., 2013, Hartenstein et al., 2015, Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006, Ito et al., 2013)
The SLPpl4 clone from Ito et al., 2013 is a subset of the LHl2 (DPLal2) clone (Schlegel et al., 2024 - FlyBase:FBrf0260535).
