Neuroblast that produces a primary lineage, located dorsal to that of CP1 in the larva, that enters the neuropil lateral to the mushroom body calyx and joins the oblique posterior tract (Hartenstein et al., 2015. Its secondary lineage mainly innervates the superior intermediate and medial protocerebrum in the adult brain (Wong et al., 2013. (Hartenstein et al., 2015, Wong et al., 2013, Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006)
