Neuroblast that is relatively posteriorly-located in the BLV group, close to BLVp1 (Lovick et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015. It produces two hemilineages that migrate apart at metamorphosis (Lovick et al., 2013; Wong et al., 2013. The BLVp3/4 of Pereanu and Hartenstein (2006) (FBrf0194268) may be branches/hemilineages of BLVp2 (Cardona et al., 2010; Lovick et al., 2013 Wong et al., 2013. Referred to as BLVp3 in the larva by Cardona et al., 2010 (Lovick et al., 2013.
