Neuroblast that generates a basoanterior secondary lineage, which has cell bodies found dorsal to the antennal lobe in the adult brain (Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006; Lovick et al., 2013. Its primary lineage has two branches that flank the mushroom body medial lobe, similar to BAmd1 (Hartenstein et al., 2015. (Hartenstein et al., 2015, Lovick et al., 2013, Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006)
