Bilaterally symmetrical muscle spanning the fifth abdominal segment in adult males. It attaches to the middle of a2 in the A5 segment at its anterior and to a2 in the A6 segment at its posterior (Kimura et al., 2024. Its development requires the activity of the mind motor neuron (Nojima et al., 2010; Kimura et al., 2024. (Nojima et al., 2010, Gailey et al., 2006, Kimura et al., 2024)
