Adult lateral horn local neuron of the PV2b1 group that fasciculates with the PV2 primary neurite tract (Dolan et al., 2019; Schlegel et al., 2021. It is a secondary neuron that is part of the BLP1 (VPNp&v1) posterior hemilineage (Schlegel et al., 2021. There are approximately three of these cells per hemisphere and they are GABAergic (Dolan et al., 2019; Schlegel et al., 2021. (Schlegel et al., 2021, Frechter et al., 2019, Dolan et al., 2019)
Assumed to be part of same hemilineage as LHPV2a1, LHPV2a2, LHPV2a3 and LHPV2b5 based on shared primary neurite tract (PVL03) in Schlegel et al., 2021.
