It is a secondary neuron that is part of the SLPpl3 lateral hemilineage (Bates et al., 2020. It also receives input in the mushroom body calyx (Marin et al., 2020. There is approximately one of these cells per hemisphere (Schlegel et al., 2021. (Schlegel et al., 2021, Marin et al., 2020, Bates et al., 2020)
